A little info on why we are a Closed Cattery...

What is a "Closed Cattery" and why do we choose this?

Here at Kings Kitties Ragdolls, we are a closed cattery which means that we do not allow potential kitty families into our family home to visit with our cats and kittens (as they are raised amongst us with our family).

There are many reasons that we came to the decision to become a fully closed cattery, the safety of our family (furry and human both) is first and foremost.  It's a scary world, guys!  We receive many inquiries from all over the US and beyond, trying to maintain a level of privacy is just wisdom in this day.  That being said, we are also not a pet store or actual place of business therefore not insured as such.   Also importantly, illness and disease can spread quickly. While we health test and monitor ALL cats that we bring into our cattery, we are unable to do that with potential families and their pets. If a family has visited another cattery, shelter or rescue recently this could potentially bring in unwanted illness and disease that could so negativly impact our cats and kittens. We understand that you want to see your potential future kitten so we do offer videos and photos!  We are also diligent to return messages and or phone calls and happy to answer all questions and support you as you prepare for your new family member!

Our hearts are to stay centered around safety, love and giving our cats and family the healthiest environment possible. A "Closed Cattery" is not unwelcoming, it is simply the wisest and safest choice for our kittens and yours and our families... we truly have you in mind as well!!  We always meet at a safe public location for your family and our families peace of mind both should you be driving in.  This is a no exception policy, thank you so much for your kindness and understanding.
